As the Captain of your life, there are times you will spend adventuring out at sea, and others moored safely in port, gathering supplies and charting your next course.
Whichever port you may find yourself at, be sure to always be ready for the next adventure, for a ship was never designed to be moored for too long.
Adventures await the brave and the bold, and you Captain, have all that you need to sail forth and discover new lands.
There are times in our lives when we can feel the need to rest and recoup before the next journey but remember to always be ready to set sail should the opportunity arise. It takes strength and determination to sail uncharted waters, but you have all that you need to succeed, you just need to ask.
As are the waters you traverse, this life runs on ebbs and flows. Accepting the flow of life is your greatest strength, for as a Captain it is always important to be ready to change your course in the uncertainty of the seas.
Allowing for change and seeking new adventure is what makes your journey the best it can be. Whilst it is comfortable to sail the waters that you know, you have not been put here to do only that.
So my Captain, be sure to set your sights as far as you can see. Embrace the adventure and be sure to enlist a good crew for no sailor should ever go forth alone.
When you lack the skills required, remember that there are others there to help you through.
Set your vision and spread the word and others that resonate will soon board your ship and look forward to joining you on your great adventure too.
Once out at sea, embrace the weather and the tides as the most fulfilling adventures in life are often the ones that come with the most challenges to overcome. Rather than turning back when times get tough, tighten your sails and be ready to face what may come head on. You’ve got this!
So, untie your ship from its berth and venture out of port. Should the destination be unclear, follow your heart and set sail anyway, allowing yourself to be guided in the right direction by the feelings deep inside, trusting that all authentic sailors sailing a worthy cause are protected out at sea.
While arriving at a new destination is always to be rejoiced, it is the journey there that brings the most satisfaction.
Be proud Captain, and wherever you end up, know that you never gave up!
